On August 10th, the House is debating the Education Jobs and Medicaid Assistance Act (HR 1586), which the Senate passed on August 5th. The bill saves and creates 319000 jobs, including 161000 teacher jobs, closes tax loopholes that encourage corporations to ship American jobs overseas and reduces the deficit.
